Some 15 Orang Utans have been rehabilitated at the Nature Reserve of the Shangri-la's Rasa Ria Resort here since it was established nine years ago in 1996, and relocated to the Sepilok Orang Utan Rehabilitation Centre in Sandakan.

Itinerary

0800/1230hrs, pick up from your hotel and proceed for 45 minutes drive through scenic countryside and industrial estate Upon arrival, register your name and uphill walk through the secondary forest named "Nature Reserves" 1000/1400hrs, witness the feeding session from the viewing platform. 1200/1500hrs, descend down and proceed to visit the crocodile farm A must visit is the Chinese Temple before going to the local pottery shop which selling local handicrafts and souvenir. Depart to Kota Kinabalu city and onwards to your respective hotel.

Please wear proper walking or jogging SHOE, bring along camera, cap / hat, insect repellant, sun block lotion, binocular and extra cash for other purchase during the tour.
