KK City Tour

Duration: City Tour Day Trip

Itinerary

9.00am: Depart from your hotel. A brief stop at the Handicraft Market, a place to purchase local, Indonesian and Filipino handicraft. Other items such as local fruits, shells, cascading macram hangings, woven baskets, wood carvings and sunhats are also available here. Look through all the items and you never know you might find something you like for your friends or to decorate your house.

Signal Hill, a look out point from which you enjoy a breathtaking view over the whole city. This is the ideal place to take photographs of Kota Kinabalu.

Visit Tun Mustapha (Yayasan Sabah) building. This 30 storey circular glass building is supported by high tensile steel rods throughout its structure, an architectural and engineering marvel. It is one of only four such buildings in the world. It is also the official office of the Chief Minister of Sabah.

Just a few minutes drive away is the Poh Tze Buddhist temple, which is the second oldest temple in Sabah. Next, discover and learn about Sabah's rich history and culture at the Sabah State Museum. Deemed one of the best in the region, the museum is home to an impressive collection of artifacts that reflect Sabah's cultural, ethnic and natural history. Some of the archaeological findings here dated back 28,000 years ago.

Your last stop in this tour is The State Mosque. It is visited by tourist for its simplistic modern design and beauty along with the large dome, which uses a honeycomb pattern design with gold coloured linings that makes the mosque a popular place for visitors from both local and foreign country to take pictures.

11.30am Transfer back to your hotel.
